Each week, the Seattle Seahawks are able to promote two players from the practice squad to the game day roster. In Week 1, Chad Wheeler got the nod and in Week 2, it was defensive tackle Anthony Rush. For Week 3, Seattle will use both spots they are permitted to use, elevating defensive back Ryan Neal in addition to Shaquem Griffin, whose addition was reported earlier in the day.
Neal played three games for the Seahawks down the stretch in 2019 and then went on to have a positive training camp ahead of the 2020 season.
