After Sunday’s 34-31 overtime road loss to the Rams in the season opener, the Seahawks unanimously fell in the NFL power rankings compiled by major national media outlets, but the consensus appears to be that Seattle remains among the top teams in the league.
Both NFL.com and and ESPN.com dubbed the Seahawks third in their power rankings, down one spot from last week.
“Don’t put too much stock into the Seahawks’ 0-1 start,” per ESPN. “Russell Wilson is now 1-3 in his career at St. Louis. He’s 35-10 everywhere else.”
“Marshawn Lynch got the ball with the game on the line this time,” wrote NFL media analyst Elliot Harrison.
