Seahawks players are planning to meet with Seattle mayor Ed Murray and police departments around the state, receiver Doug Baldwin said.
The Seahawks linked arms during the national anthem before Sunday’s game against the Dolphins. Baldwin explained the team’s actions after the game: “We’ve come so far, but that doesn’t mean we rest on our laurels. We have so far to go.”
Baldwin said the Seahawks are scheduling meetings with Murray and police chiefs across the state to discuss the issues of racial inequality in the United States.
