One of the most important players on the Seattle Seahawks defense is not going to be available until late October.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport wrote on Monday that defensive lineman Jarran Reed has been suspended six games by the NFL for violating the league’s personal conduct policy. His appeal was denied last Friday.
The alleged incident that led to Reed’s six-game ban occurred in April 2017, when a woman accused Reed of assaulting her at 3 AM in a house in Bellevue. That led to an investigation by the Bellevue Police Department, but no charges were filed and Reed was never arrested.
