When the Seattle Seahawks activated right tackle Abraham Lucas off of injured reserve and to the active roster, they placed starting right guard Phil Haynes on IR with a toe injury. Now that Lucas is potentially out for Sunday’s regular season finale against the Arizona Cardinals, Haynes could be set for a return to the lineup.
The Seahawks designated Haynes for a return to practice on Wednesday, having missed the last five games. Rookie Anthony Bradford has started in Haynes’ absence.
Haynes can practice without counting against the active roster, but if he’s to play in Week 18 then a roster move must be made in order to get him on the team before gameday.
