Seahawks could save $2 million going with Blair Walsh over Steve Hauschka

Steve Hauschka is expected to sign with the Buffalo Bills on a four-year, $12.4 million contract, a league source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Hauschka was a solid kicker for the Seattle Seahawks since joining the team in 2011, but letting him walk in free agency was the right move.

Seattle signed Blair Walsh last month, and he is currently the favorite to win the kicking job. But general manager John Schneider said at the NFL combine that the Seahawks will bring in another kicker at some point to compete with him.

Walsh's one-year contract could be worth $1.
