The Seattle Seahawks took care of the Los Angeles Chargers 23-15 in the traditional “dress rehearsal” third preseason game. Well... the Chargers didn’t dress many starters, but that’s not the Seahawks problem, and they looked sharp for the most part, along with many of the backups and roster hopefuls.
Russell Wilson (6/9 for 73 yards) played almost the whole 1st half, while the first-team linebacker trio of K.J. Wright, Bobby Wagner, and Mychal Kendricks made their first appearance together in the preseason. Shaquill Griffin had a couple of quality plays, particularly in run defense, and the running game was in full force.
