Seahawks center Patrick Lewis moves on after taking snapping mistakes in loss to Rams hard

The mistakes resonated deeply with Lewis, who after the game apologized to the rest of the line and somberly accepted responsibility when he talked to the media.

RENTON — Two off-target snaps by center Patrick Lewis stood as the defining image of an off game for the Seahawks’ offensive line in Sunday’s 23-17 loss to the St. Louis Rams.

And they resonated deeply with Lewis, who after the game apologized to the rest of the line and somberly accepted responsibility when he talked to the media.

By Wednesday, though, Lewis was back to his usual self, saying the nature of the NFL — and coach Pete Carroll’s approach — means moving on quickly.
