Seahawks center Connor Williams abruptly retires ahead of 49ers game

The Seattle Seahawks will be tweaking their offensive line group this Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers, but it’s a wholly unplanned tweak.

Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald told reporters on Friday that starting center Connor Williams, who’d played every snap in his first season with the Seahawks, has retired at just 27 years old.
