Seahawks cornerback Jeremy Lane was arrested early Sunday morning outside of Seattle on a charge of driving under the influence, court records show.
Lane was booked into jail at 5:30 a.m. local time and was released on his own recognizance about four hours later, according to King County court records. He was heading eastbound on Interstate 90 on or near Mercer Island when he was pulled over.
More information about Lane's arrest, such as his blood-alcohol, was not immediately available. The Seahawks have not commented on Lane's arrest.
Lane, 27, has spent all six of his NFL seasons with the Seahawks, who drafted him in the sixth round in 2012 out of Northwestern State University in Louisiana.
