Seattle Seahawks middle linebacker Bobby Wagner sat out Sunday’s game against the Panthers with a strained pectoral, but the team is hopeful he’ll make it back for Thursday’s matchup against the 49ers.
"He could have gone out there, but it wasn’t the right thing to do," said Seahawks coach Pete Carroll during his weekly appearance on 710 ESPN Seattle. "We did the right thing by holding him out, and he was resistant to that, but he knew. He knew that was right. So we’re hoping that in these next couple days, he’ll be ready, that that would make the difference.
