RENTON -- The Seahawks brought back a familiar face for their competition at fullback with the signing of Will Tukuafu on Sunday.
The team officially announced the move day after Tukuafu, 32, posted a photo of the signing on his Instagram account Saturday.
The 6-foot-4, 272-pound Tukuafu originally signed with Seattle as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon in 2010, but lasted just two weeks before being cut in the offseason. After spending parts of five seasons with the San Francisco 49ers, playing on the defensive line and at tight end, he rejoined the Seahawks in October 2014, compiling five rushes for three yards and a touchdown plus two receptions for 11 yards and another score in 23 regular-season games from 2014 to 2015.
