Training camp scuffles between an offensive player and a defensive player are not uncommon in the NFL. But head coach Pete Carroll hates when players fight in Seahawks camp. Carroll is about peace and harmony, of course, but he is right in thinking players on the same team getting into a dispute could be a bad thing long term.
On Thursday in camp, Ethan Pocic and Jarran Reed decided that they disagreed with one another enough to actual throw punches at each other. This was done with helmets on so there was very little risk that anyone was going to be injured.
