By a wide difference, the Seattle Seahawks’ 34-14 win over the Atlanta Falcons was the game with the most snaps from the rookies in the season, totaling 209. This came from the contributions of Mike Jerrell and Nehemiah Pritchett, who played all the offensive and defensive snaps respectively. We’re going to take a look at the performances of each of them.
Byron Murphy II, Defensive Lineman (34 snaps)
He was third in iDL snaps behind Leo Williams and Jarran Reed. He was second in pass rush grade with 70.6, behind only Derick Hall (91!!!). From an improvement standpoint, I think he can do a better job against double blocks in the running game (when he doesn’t use the dead leg technique).
