This is news that’s a few days old but we were so swept up in DK Metcalf sprinting fever that we forgot to actually write it up. But for some of you this is brand new information anyway so we’re here to publish it!
First up is 6’1” cornerback Saivion Smith, claimed off of waivers from the Dallas Cowboys. He played 75 defensive snaps and 84 special teams snaps in the 2020 season, but with Dallas taking two corners in the NFL Draft he was the odd man out. Smith went undrafted out of Alabama in 2019 and made his professional football debut with the undefeated, unstoppable machine that was the XFL’s Houston Roughnecks.
