It should have ended like this. A lot of factors combined to upend the Seattle Seahawks 20-25 against the New Orleans Saints. This was a game that the Seahawks had no business losing.
Now the Seahawks have a long flight back to Seattle before they can begin to unravel what went wrong. Some of it was correctable mistakes. Some of it was completely out of their control.
Here are my five biggest takeaways from today’s disappointing loss:
1. No new injuries!
The Seahawks are seriously banged up right now. On both sides of the ball they’re stretched thin because of guys who aren’t healthy.
