As I wrote about yesterday, the old "June 1st" deadline of the NFL calendar has come and gone (as of the new date, May 12th), meaning NFL compensatory pick formulas for each team have been set. Free agents still out there are now considered "street free agents," and they're irrelevant to the league's still-proprietary equation. Free agents that signed with other teams can still be released at 53-man roster cutdowns, which could affect these projections.
So, OverTheCap's projection for the Seahawks next year has Seattle gaining three more comp picks (they had four this season): a 3rd rounder for Byron Maxwell, a 5th rounder for James Carpenter, and a 6th rounder for Malcolm Smith.
