The Seattle Seahawks have 18 pending unrestricted free agents. This includes 16 that were on the active roster in the playoffs. (The other 2 were on injured reserve.) That is almost one-third of the active roster.
Combine these players with the 6 RFAs and 7 ERFA, and 30 of the Seahawks from last season are currently not under contract for next season. That is quite a few that must either be re-signed or replaced.
Ideally, the Seahawks will be able to get most of these players back for next season. There’s a couple of reasons for that.
