Sports fans want to watch live sports, no matter how real the event might be or not. On Sunday, a golf event called The Match: Champions for Charity was played and probably drew millions of viewers. I can’t be bothered to look up the actual ratings, but one thing is certain. 12s found yet another reason to admire Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.
The Match was played between two teams. One paired Tiger Woods and Peyton Manning and the other paired Phil Mickelson and Tom Brady. Woods and Manning won the contest by a stroke, but more importantly, the event raised $20 million.
