This is the type of win that’s been long overdue.
The New York Jets (0-13) took an early 3-0 lead on the Seattle Seahawks (9-4) and then got destroyed for the rest of the afternoon at Lumen Field. Russell Wilson threw for four touchdowns, did not get sacked once, Chris Carson rushed for 76 yards and a TD, and the defense predictably locked down a dismal Jets offense for a 40-3 victory. It’s the first 30+ point win by the Seahawks since a 40-7 whipping of the Carolina Panthers back in 2016. The only things that could’ve been better were not dropping passes and interceptions.
