SEATTLE - With the Seahawks clinging to a 10-7 lead in the third quarter, the offense reached into its bag of tricks for the team's longest play of the game.
Russell Wilson handed the ball off to Marshawn Lynch, who started to his right before throwing it back to Wilson behind the line of scrimmage. That was only the start of the play. Wilson then gathered himself and launched a 40-yard bomb to wide receiver Ricardo Lockette in the corner of the end zone.
The play actually didn't fool Panthers safety Kurt Coleman, who had great position in front of Lockette.
