Russell Wilson outdueled in the fourth quarter by his former backup

Brett Hundley led the Arizona Cardinals on a 78-yard touchdown scoring drive in the fourth quarter against the Seattle Seahawks. Yet, against a defense ranked 32 is pass defense and total defense coming into Week 16, Russell Wilson wasn’t able to match that output.

Let that sink in.

Hundley relieved Kyler Murray in the third quarter after the rookie suffered a hamstring injury. Even with Jamarco Jones getting his first full-game action at left tackle for an injured Duane Brown and the Seahawks down to their fourth-string running back Travis Homer, it doesn’t seem like a lot to ask from the quarterback tied for the lead in game-winning drives coming into the second to last week of the season.
