Back in June, Russell Wilson wrote a public letter to his sister Anna, who was graduating from high school and is headed to Stanford on a basketball scholarship.
But Anna's college career got off to a rocky start, as detailed by Michael Weinreb of Bleacher Report. During a practice for the McDonald's All-American Game last spring, Anna got elbowed in the head and suffered a concussion.
She struggled through the symptoms all summer long before returning to practice in November. When Anna got back on the court, she didn't look like the same player that Stanford had recruited.
