Mark Rodgers, the agent for Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson, sent the Seahawks a 16-page letter last week that outlined his position in contract negotiations between the two parties.
NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport first reported news of Rodgers’ letter, which he called a “position paper,” a common practice in baseball negotiations. (The vast majority of Rodgers’ clients are baseball players.)
Wilson’s situation is different. Agent Mark Rodgers is too. Of note: He sent a 16-page letter to #Seahawks last week explaining his position

The letter is the latest step in negotiations that have gone far slower than many imagined entering the offseason, as Wilson enters the fourth and final year of his rookie contract.
