The Seahawks are reported to be interested in linebacker Mike Neal, most recently of Green Bay, likely to help replace departed Bruce Irvin.
Multiple reports Thursday stated that Green Bay linebacker Mike Neal recently visited the Seahawks, with the Seahawks presumably looking at him as a player who could fill some of the snaps vacated by the departure of Bruce Irvin.
Neal became a free agent after finishing a four-year, $8 million contract in 2015.
The 6-3, 262-pounder Neal played an outside linebacker role in Green Bay’s 3-4 defense in 2015, making four sacks with 10 tackles-for-a-loss and on the field for 70 percent of the snaps.
