Reports call into question Seahawks' research into Frank Clark

The Seahawks have come under intense scrutiny today after several independent investigations by the Seattle Times and King5 News have called into question John Schneider and Pete Carroll's claims that they did extensive background research into Frank Clark's domestic violence incident. Per those reports, the Seahawks did not speak to the witnesses of the incident.

The bottom line from Schneider and Carroll's press conference on Friday was that the team had concluded Clark did not hit the alleged victim. Clark later accepted a plea deal for disorderly conduct, a fourth-degree misdemeanor.

"Our organization has an in-depth understanding of Frank Clark's situation and background," said Schneider on Friday.
