Former Seahawks quarterback Tarvaris Jackson told a Florida court he had no income, no bank accounts and no savings and asked for a public defender after he was arrested last week, according to reports.
Jackson, 33, is facing aggravated assault charges after being arrested on June 24 in Kissimmee, Florida, following an argument with a woman widely described as his wife. During the argument, Jackson pointed his gun at the woman and threatened to kill her, according to police statements.
The 10-year NFL veteran made over $12 million during his career, but according to documents obtained by TMZ, Jackson told a judge that the only asset he owned was a $100,000 car.
