Report: Seattle Seahawks' Ricardo Lockette buys burgers for homeless

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Ricardo Lockette reportedly bought 100 cheeseburgers for homeless people following season-ending neck surgery in Dallas.

According to a Wednesday report from TMZ, Lockette decided to make the gesture on Nov. 5, three days after an operation to repair neck ligament damage he suffered in Seattle's 13-12 win over the Cowboys on Nov. 1.

According to Lockette's father Earl, the 29-year-old wideout felt like he needed to do something to help those less fortunate than himself as he was leaving a Dallas-area hospital following surgery. Earl Lockette said the Hawks receiver didn't draw a lot of attention to himself during the episode, and that most of the people he gave McDonald's cheeseburgers to didn't know who he was.
