The Seattle Seahawks will work out two players this week, including one with a name that will be very familiar to Seahawks fans, per ESPN’s Brady Henderson:
As Henderson notes, Warren’s father spent eight seasons playing for Seattle, rushing for 6706 yards and 44 touchdowns. A UDFA out of Texas following the 2018 NFL Draft, Warren led the league in rushing during last year’s preseason in Oakland, with 292 yards. A knee injury landed him on injured reserve during roster cuts, robbing him of his rookie season.
Warren couldn’t keep his weight under control this summer—at one point, it was speculated he’d ballooned up to 260 pounds—and so the Raiders moved on.
