On Saturday there were many fans of the Seattle Seahawks who were upset when word came down that the team was waiving rookie wide receiver Jazz Ferguson out of Northwestern State. Ferguson had shown some skills on contested balls in the red zone, while leading the Hawks rookie receivers in receiving during the preseason. However, in spite of those facts, the team decided to retain all three of the receivers it selected during the 2019 NFL Draft back in April in DK Metcalf, Gary Jennings and John Ursua, while risking Ferguson to the waiver wire.
