The Seahawks will reportedly add another veteran to their defensive tackle rotation with the signing of former New Orleans Saints third-round pick John Jenkins.
According to a Friday report from ESPN's Field Yates, the 27-year-old Jenkins will join the Seahawks after being released by the Saints on Tuesday. The team has not officially announced the deal.
The 6-foot-4, 346-pounder appeared in 49 games (with 22 starts) for the Saints after being selected out of Georgia in 2013, racking up 115 career tackles, 1.5 sacks, two passes defended and a forced fumble. He saw action in seven games for New Orleans this season.
