The Seahawks will sign former Oakland Raiders fullback and University of Washington star Marcel Reece, according to a Monday report from ESPN'S Adam Schefter.
Reece, 31, was released by the Raiders on Sept. 26 after returning from a four game suspension for the use of performing-enhancing drugs. He worked out for Seattle last week.
The three-time Pro Bowler could replace fullback Will Tukuafu, who entered the league's concussion protocol during Sunday's 40-7 win over the Carolina Panthers.
Listed at 6-foot-3 and 240 pounds, Reece played wide receiver at Washington, catching 39 passes for 761 yards and 8 touchdowns as a senior in 2007.
