It was midway through 2020 season when head coach of the Seattle Seahawks Pete Carroll reined in the team’s high flying offense, and after the season publicly stated that he wanted the team to be able to run the ball better in 2021. One of the big questions surrounding that desire is exactly who would be carrying the ball for the team, as Travis Homer and DeeJay Dallas had been underwhelming to this point in their career, and Rashaad Penny was still dealing with a significant knee injury after his return late in the season.
Well, as of late Friday, those questions can be put to rest.
