A report has surfaced on Friday morning that the Seattle Seahawks have indeed agreed to a three-year contract extension with defensive end Michael Bennett.

Bennett has played in 10 games this season, recording 32 tackles and four sacks. He just picked up a sack against Carson Palmer and the Arizona Cardinals on Saturday, his first since Week 4. But Bennett was a Pro Bowler last season after a career-high 10 sacks and is the most versatile defensive lineman on the team, essentially playing any of the four spots upfront and maybe even Leo or outside linebacker as a standing edge rusher at times.
