The reshuffling of the salary cap and indeed the Seattle Seahawks offensive line continues.
Not too long after right guard D.J. Fluker announced that he had been released, it’s been reported by The Athletic’s Aaron J. Fentress that the team is also ready to part ways with veteran starting center Justin Britt.
As noted by Fentress, the Seahawks would save north of $8 million on cap space, to go along with the $3.6 million saved by cutting Fluker.
Britt was drafted by the Seahawks in 2014, first starting at right tackle before being moved to guard the following season.
