The day wouldn’t be complete without another national report about Kam Chancellor’s contract holdout.
The latest came Thursday afternoon when ESPN’s Adam Schefter, citing an anonymous source, said the strong safety is willing to carry his holdout into the regular season. Apparently, Chancellor is not close to giving in. Thursday marked the 21st day of his holdout.

ESPN’s Josina Anderson reported Wednesday that Chancellor won’t report until his contract is addressed this season, saying the two sides haven’t made progress since Chancellor’s holdout began and they had yet to reach a compromise.
