The Seattle Seahawks have made another roster change, albeit a tad less splashy than Saturday’s trade for Jamal Adams.
Aaron J. Fentress or The Oregonian reports that defensive end Branden Jackson has been released, which is certainly one way to save a tiny bit of cap space.
As a tendered restricted free agent, Jackson was set to make a little over $2.1 million this year but cutting him would leave no dead money at all. The 27-year-old has been with the team on either the practice squad or the active roster since the 2017 season.
