Report: Seahawks plan to sign Branden Jackson to practice squad

The Seattle Seahawks announced their initial 10-man practice squad on Monday, but now it looks like they’re already on the verge of making another tweak.

ESPN’s Brady Henderson reports that Seattle is looking to re-sign defensive end Branden Jackson, who was waived on Sunday to make room for cornerback Simeon Thomas. Obviously with the Seahawks having already formed their practice squad, that means someone has to be dropped in order for Jackson to be signed.

Jackson was signed to the Seahawks practice squad in 2017, but was soon activated to the 53-man roster and played in 12 games.
