The Seattle Seahawks have made yet another change to its 53-man roster, by placing running back J.D. McKissic on injured reserve, a couple of weeks after he suffered a broken foot in the team’s preseason game against the Los Angeles Chargers. ESPN’s Field Yates reported the news on Monday.
With an open spot available due to McKissic’s move to IR, the Seahawks have claimed former Cleveland Browns linebacker Jermaine Grace off of waivers. A key difference here is that McKissic being put on IR now (as opposed to before last Saturday’s roster cuts) means he can come back later in the season, after he misses a minimum of eight games.
