The Seahawks have given a qualifying tender offer to restricted free agent center Patrick Lewis, and also have given tenders to six exclusive rights free agents including cornerback DeShawn Shead and tight end Cooper Helfet, according to a report Saturday morning from Tom Pelissero of USA Today, who revealed a number of tender offers around the league.
According to the report, the Seahawks gave Lewis a low tender offer of $1.67 million. That means that the Seahawks have the right to match any offer Lewis may receive. If not, then Lewis will play the 2016 season for $1.
