The Seahawks have reportedly traded former Lakes High School and University of Washington star Jermaine Kearse and a second-round pick to the New York Jets in exchange for former Pro Bowl defensive lineman Sheldon Richardson, according to multiple reports.
New York and Seattle are also reportedly swapping seventh-round picks, though the teams have yet to officially announce the deals.
Kearse, 27, played in 69 games with 51 starts since joining Seattle as an undrafted free agent out of UW in 2012. The 6-foot-1, 212-pounder caught 153 passes for 2,109 yards and 11 touchdowns in his Seahawks career and was responsible for some of the most memorable moments in recent team history.
