One day after waiving WR/QB B.J. Daniels and RB Rod Smith, the Seattle Seahawks have reportedly filled the two open spots on their active roster.
According to a tweet from CBS Sports' Rob Rang, Seattle signed free agent cornerback Crezdon Butler -- a move that was first reported on Monday -- and linebacker Nick Moody, who had been on the team's practice squad.
The Seahawks have not yet responded to a seattlepi.com request for confirmation.
Both additions will seemingly help add depth to positions weakened by injury.
Butler, a five-year NFL veteran, will compete for playing time at cornerback with Marcus Burley (thumb) and Tye Smith (hip) battling injuries and Tharold Simon (toe) placed on injured reserve.
