Report: Rashaad Penny out 3-4 weeks with a broken bone in his finger

The Seattle Seahawks received a scare at the end of practice on Monday, as Rashaad Penny left the session early with an undisclosed injury. Brian Schottenheimer downplayed the severity of the running back’s issue following practice, saying he thought Penny was okay.

On Tuesday evening, The Seattle Times’ Bob Condotta reported the cause of Penny’s early exit: A hand injury, which includes a broken finger.

Per Condotta, the timeline of Penny’s injury isn’t known yet, however it is expected that “He will miss a little bit of time.” Head coach Pete Carroll will reportedly meet with the media on Wednesday to provide further details on the injury.
