Two days ago, the Seattle Seahawks locked up general manager John Schneider. That was great news for Seattle fans, but as I said then, the job was only half finished. Today, they completed that task by signing Pete Carroll to an extension as well.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter had the story first:
Seahawks reached agreement with HC Pete Carroll today, two days after locking up GM John Schneider, sources tell ESPN. Deal through 2019.
Contract terms are unknown at this time, but there is no doubt that Carroll will be one of the highest paid coaches in NFL history.
