It’s been an offseason of overhaul for the Seattle Seahawks, with a new coaching staff and a new defensive scheme, and that has fans excited.
In addition, under new special teams coordinator Jay Harbaugh the ‘Hawks have also overhauled their special teams, with several of the top special teams contributors moving on since the end of the 2023 season. The list of special teams leaders no longer on the roster includes:
- Jon Rhattigan (303 snaps): Waived at roster cuts, claimed by the Carolina Panthers
- DeeJay Dallas (286 snaps): Signed with Arizona Cardinals in free agency
- Michael Jackson (236 snaps): Traded to the Panthers
- Will Dissly (178 snaps): Signed with Los Angeles Chargers in free agency
And now, according to multiple reports, 2023 special teams captain Nick Bellore is joining the practice squad of the Washington Commanders.
