The Philadelphia Eagles haven’t begun the roster rebuild just yet, but they’re working on trades of both quarterback Carson Wentz and tight end Zach Ertz.
While the Seattle Seahawks are obviously not interested in Wentz, they apparently have taken interest in acquiring Ertz according to Ed Kracz from Eagle Maven. The Indianapolis Colts are also in play and there’s been speculation that Wentz/Ertz could come in a packaged deal, which would clearly take Seattle out of the running and put Indy in the driver’s seat.
Ertz is 31 years old and it’s pretty clear that his days in Philadelphia are over, as the team looks to get younger and rebuild after such an unbelievably quick collapse following their Super Bowl win over the New England Patriots.
