Over the past couple of weeks, the Seahawks have seen their safety depth take a number of hits.
Marquise Blair, who served as the backup free safety in addition to playing nickel, tore his ACL and was lost for the year. As a result Ugo Amadi, who can also play safety if needed, stepped into the starting nickel role. Lano Hill, who dealt with hip issues all throughout 2019, was a late scratch on Sunday because of stiffness in his hip. And of course, Jamal Adams suffered a groin strain that may keep him out of the lineup in Week 4.
