Report: Carlos Hyde may be more attractive option for Seahawks

Earlier this week reports emerged that the Seattle Seahawks had offered a contract to former Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman and that it would not be a surprise to see the two sides reach agreement on a contract. However, that was on Wednesday, and it’s now Friday, so of course the story has changed.

So, now instead of Freeman, who turned 28 in March, the Seahawks may be leaning more towards Carlos Hyde, who is set to turn 30 in September. Hyde was a second round pick of the San Francisco 49ers in 2014 and spent four years with the Niners before seeing the field for the Cleveland Browns, Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans over the past two seasons.
