There was some potentially concerning news out of Wednesday’s practice for the Seattle Seahawks.
Free agent signing Rayshawn Jenkins left practice early with what was described by the Seattle Times’ Bob Condotta as a “leg/foot injury.”
Jenkins got hurt on a play when he turned to try to defend a Geno Smith pass to the sideline. After being tended to, Jenkins then left the field aided by trainers and did not return. The Seahawks were not in full pads and the practice was noncontact.
Head coach Mike Macdonald was not made available to the media, but he is scheduled to talk on Thursday.
