The Baltimore Ravens, who host the Seattle Seahawks Sunday, made two interesting roster moves Saturday.
First, the Ravens promoted former Seahawk WR Chris Matthews to the 53-man active roster.
Matthews had been on Baltimore’s practice squad since being released by the Seahawks following the Arizona game on Nov.15.
Matthews was a star of the Super Bowl last February for the Seahawks but had just four catches this season before being released.
The Ravens also promoted QB Bryn Renner to the active roster, which would be a sign of further uncertainty about the status of quarterback Matt Schaub.
